Privacy policy

1. Introduction

TradeFlo+ ("we", "our", or "the platform") is operated by Amir Brooks, an Australian sole trader. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use the TradeFlo+ mobile app and website.

2. Information we collect

Account information

  • Name, email address, and phone number.
  • Apple ID information (if you sign in with Apple) — only your name and email, as authorised by you.
  • Account role (homeowner or contractor).
  • Business name and ABN (contractors only).

Job & quote data

  • Quotes, line items, milestones, and job details you create.
  • Photos and files uploaded as milestone evidence or quote attachments.
  • Messages exchanged within the platform.

Payment information

  • Payment details are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card or bank account numbers on our servers.

Device information

  • Push notification tokens (so we can alert you about jobs).
  • Device type and operating system version.

3. How we use your information

  • To create and manage your account.
  • To facilitate quotes, jobs, milestone tracking, and payments between homeowners and contractors.
  • To send notifications about job updates, payments, and important alerts.
  • To process payments via Stripe Connect.
  • To provide customer support and improve the product.

4. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • The other party to a job (the relevant homeowner or contractor) for the purpose of completing the work.
  • Stripe, for payment processing.
  • Service providers who help us operate the platform (cloud hosting, error monitoring), under confidentiality obligations.
  • Authorities, if required by Australian law or court order.

5. Security

All traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+). Data is encrypted at rest in PostgreSQL. Access to production systems is gated by mandatory two-factor authentication. We maintain an append-only audit log for every money-impacting action.

6. Camera and photo access

The TradeFlo+ mobile app requests access to your camera and photo library so you can upload milestone evidence and quote attachments. Photos are uploaded to our secure storage and visible only to the parties on the relevant job and to TradeFlo+ operators reviewing disputes.

7. Your rights under Australian Privacy Principles

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing [email protected]. Audit-log records may be retained as required by Australian record-keeping rules.

8. Children's privacy

TradeFlo+ is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. The current version is always available at this URL.

Where this sits in your rights

This policy is governed by the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. If you have a complaint we cannot resolve, you can refer it to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
